The No.3 Senior High School of Shenzhen, as an integrated public high school directly under Shenzhen Education Bureau, is titled “First-Degree School of Guangdong Province” and “Demonstrative Regular Senior High School of Guangdong Province”. Our school is founded in May, 1996 with the name of “Attached High School of Shenzhen College of Education”. In 2004, it was renamed as “ Shenzhen Jiaoyuan High School” which was used until 2010 when the present school name was brought into use. Our junior high school is located in Yitian Village of Futian District, with 30 teaching classes and over 1200 students; our senior high school is located in the Longgang District Center, with 60 teaching classes and over 3200 students. Our school covers an area of over 120,000㎡，including a building area of about 90,000 ㎡. We have 324 full-time teachers, including 1 beneficiary of the special allowance endowed by the State Council, 1 renowned headmaster of Shenzhen City, 3 leading personnel of local level of Shenzhen, 8 special-class teachers and over 60 backbone teachers and academic leaders at national and provincial levels. 95 teachers in us are graduates from famous academies such as Beijing University and Chinese Academy of Sciences or overseas graduates with a master or doctor’s degree, covering 29.3% of the full-time teachers. Also, we have 1 senior teacher of full professor level and other 148 senior teachers, which cover 45.7% of the full time teachers. In one word, our school is one of those schools in Shenzhen which have the highest rate between top teachers and the full-time teachers.

We have established the school management theory  of “lay a foundation for the  lifelong development of every student”and the school “management strategy of managing our school by law,establishing our school by quality, prospering our school by scientific research and strengthening our school by unique features”. On the one hand, we ensure our teaching quality and spare no effort to promote quality-oriented education. On the other hand, we cater to the students demand and positively fathom the education internationalization. In 2007, we became 

 one of the first 10 schools in China  which was conferred by CSC(China Scholarship Council) the title of “China’s Training Base for International Talents”.In these 10 schools,there are three regular senior high schools. In 2011, we became “Overseas Study Base for the Oriental International Educational Exchange Center of CSC”. Until now, we have been the only one high school in China which has this title. In 2012, the Oriental International Educational Exchange Center of CSC established an office in our school in order to guide the work on studying abroad. Especially, in 2013, CSC offers us 3 quotas of students to study abroad on a government sponsorship. In these projects, the students can enjoy free tuition and accommodation in the five years’ study abroad. In addition, they can also enjoy the living allowances of 400 dollars every month and the first round trip air ticket. In 2014, CSC offers 4 quotas of students to study abroad on a government scholarship. Meanwhile, our work on studying abroad has won the vigorous support of our Municipal Education Bureau. In order to benefit more citizens especially the salaried class with good quality resources for studying abroad and reflect better the feature, scale, efficiency and brand of the work about overseas study, in 2012, approved by the Municipal Education Bureau, our school became the only public school in Shenzhen which recruits study abroad classes in the senior high school recruiting scheme. In recent years, in the form of tuition-free or college entrance examination free or offering scholarship, our school has sent over 800 students to study in the world-renown universities in the US, Canada, Britain, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Argentine, Poland, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Australia, etc.

    Our school has won the title “Harmonious Campus” more than once, “Excellent School in School Management of People’s Government of Shenzhen” twice, “Civilized Unit of Shenzhen” for three times. We have also won almost 100 honorary titles at national level, provincial level and city level such as “Advanced Unit of Shenzhen in College Entrance Exam Work”, “ School of Excellent Parents of Students”, “ First Batch of Model Schools In Guangdong which Manage the School By law”, “ The First Batch of Safe and Civilized Campuses”, “The First Batch of  Schools with Distinctive P.E. Classes”. In 2002, it was awarded “First-Class School in Shenzhen”. In 2004, it was awarded “First-Class School in Guangdong”. In December, 2006, we passed the assessment of demonstrative senior high school at the national level of Guangdong Province. The assessment team considers us “a high quality high school with advanced school management theory, distinct school- running characteristics, standardized and orderly management, strong teaching body, excellent teaching quality, good model radiating, and full vitality”.
