On 29th October, in order to commemorate the victory of Anti-Japanese War and to sing the praises of our great mother country, a poetry reading competition with the theme of ‘China, I Love You’ was held in the Round Hall at the school. All the students and teachers of Grade 11 expressed their passionate love and respect to China as well as the martyrs by reading poetry.
The vice president Tao and the dean of Students’ Affairs Division attended the competition as judges. With the elegant background songs, the students from 20 different classes stepped on the stage and demonstrated their performances. Neatly dressed, the students read poems with full of spirit and energy, expressing their respect and gratitude to the martyrs for the great achievements they made and extolling the prosperous mother land. With the enthusiastic songs, elegant dances and affectionate reading, the young and promising ladies and gentlemen made a deep impression on every audience, who warmly applauded the performers for several times.
