Jeff Davis, the Associate Director of International Programs in University of California, Irvine (UCI), visited our school on Mar. 10^th, introducing UCI and its courses to us. Mr. Davis not only gave a wonderful speech, but also well interacted with students and parents, providing ample information on UCI.  

Since 1965, the University of California, Irvine has combined the strengths of a major research university with the bounty of an incomparable Southern California location.  UCI is among the most dynamic campuses in the University of California system. Increasingly a first-choice campus for students, UCI ranks among the top U.S. universities in the number of undergraduate applications and continues to admit freshmen with highly competitive academic profiles. Orange County’s second-largest employer, UCI generates an annual economic impact on the county of $5 billion.

UCI is one of 62 universities in the U.S. and Canada elected to membership in the prestigious Association of American Universities. The Center for World University Rankings places UCI 52nd in the U.S. and 88th in the world in its 2016 ranking of the top 100 degree-granting institutions of higher education. The alumni of UCI have won three Nobel Prizes.
